First National Conference on Human Development Kicks off in Skhirat
The First National Conference on Human Development opened on Thursday in Skhirat, under the theme "Early childhood: a commitment for the future."
The opening ceremony of the Conference, held under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, was marked by a royal message sent by the Sovereign to the participants, read out by Interior minister, Abdelouafi Laftit.
The meeting coincides with the first anniversary of the launch by HM the King of phase III of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH).
The National Conference on Human Development is part of the efforts undertaken to implement the High Royal Instructions aimed at consolidating the achievements of the previous phases of the INDH and focusing the programs of the current phase on the development of human capital for the next generations and the economic integration of young people.
The main objective of this Conference is to raise awareness among all stakeholders of the challenges related to early childhood development and thereby share the vision and approach of the INDH in this area.
The event is attended by more than 500 participants, including institutions and public authorities, international organizations, civil society, local authorities, the private sector, experts and teacher-researchers.
